MATHERAN CITY GUIDE
It is the closest hill station to Mumbai. The place is very pleasant with shady
trees and with lovely walking tracks. The views are scenic. The place remains so
beautiful because of the complete ban on motor vehicles. The perfect retreat for
people who are tired of the crowded Mumbai streets. The high season is between
November to February and from April to June. But the place is packed generally
during the holiday season.

point, Louisa point and Little Chowk have a lovely view of the sunset . There is
also a valley below tree hill, which can be reached by crossing the Shivaji's
ladder. More than all this it is the pleasure of being in
absolute greenery, breathing the pollution free air and feeling one with
nature.
