Non-Standard  circular  journey  tickets  are  also  issued  on  request  from  the  party . Such  tickets  are  charged  for  two  single  journeys , the  length  of  each  single  journey  being  taken  as  half  of  total  distance . Passengers  can  break  8 (eight) point  of  their  total  journeys . Reservation  charges  for  different  legs  of  journey  and  supplementary  charge  on  superfast  trains  are  levied  extra . The  validity  period  of  the  ticket  is  calculated  as  the  sum  of  journey  days  and  break  journey  days - journey  days  to  be  calculated @ 1 day  per  400  Kms.  distance  or  part  thereof  and  break  journey  days  to  be  calculated @ 1 day  per  200 Kms.  If  a  passenger  desire  to  travel  in  higher  class  or  by  higher  category of  train , he  will be  required  to  pay  the  difference  of  fares  for  such  distance  on  point  to  point  basis .

30%  Concession  in  all  classes  including  Rajdhani  Exp.  and  Shatabdi  Exp.  are  also  granted  on  circular  journey  ticket  issued  to  the  senior  citizens , of  the  age  of  60  years  and  above for male and female. Age  proof  certificate  from  Panchayat / Collectorate / School  leaving  certificate / Ration card  must  be  kept  while  travelling . There is no distance  limitation.

Passengers  are  requested  to  follow  the  following  conditions  at  the  time  of  application  for  Non-Standard  Circular  Journey  tickets :-

1. Request  for  Circular  Journey  ticket  should  be  circular  in  form .
2. Availability  of  any  particular  station  should  not  be  more  than  once , unless  it  is  a  natural  event .
3. The  normal  route  (either  long  distance  or  short  distance)  as  available  should  be  availed  in  case  of  Non-standard  Circular  Journey  ticket  also .
4. In  case  of   'via'  there should  not  be  availability  of  'via'  stations  more  than  once , unless  it  is  a  natural  event .
5. The  application  should  contain  the  name , age , sex , full  address  of  the  passenger  and  age  proof  certificate  (in  case  of  Senior  citizen)  for  having  Non-Standard  Circular  Journey  ticket.
6. Both  in  the  Non-Standard  Circular  Journey  ticket  order  and  also  special  ticket  the  name , age , sex  of  the  passenger  should  be  clearly  mentioned , so  that  there  is  no  case  of  transferring  of  the  ticket  from  one  hand  to  another .
