For the convenience of the public most of the manual
reservation centres have been computerised.
Computerised terminals are new available at 830 locations, where you
can make advance reservation for a journey by any train originating
at any station over Indian Railway.

Advance reservation,
allotment of lower berths and compact accommodation for families
and parties in a cublicle are done on a first come first served
basis.

If you required a lower berth,
please indicate this on the requisition form for booking and a lower
berth will be alloted to you, if available, at the time of
booking.

Citizens (over 60 years
of age for Male and 45 years in the case of female) are alloted lower
berths automatically, subject to availability at the time of
booking.

All he reservation terminals now have access to book tickets from any
station to any station on Indian Railways.

| The Computrised Reservation Offices normally function
from 8.00 hrs. to 20.00 hrs. on all days, except Sunday when it closes at
14.00 hrs. |
